Rented a Canon 70-200 f / 2.8 L IS II for three days to photograph a conference. Good fast service via e-mail on the spot when picking up and returning. Also a very wide range at excellent prices. Unfortunately, placing the reservation was a bit difficult: the order went through my work. Apparently an account had already been created for us, but accessing this account took some doing. Once you have access, placing an order is very easy again (and the next reservation is already in place).
I do think budgetcam is a good company. The location was annoying and difficult to find in Amsterdam west. When picking up the camera, no time was taken to answer just 1 question, such as a simple question about the operation of the camera. Furthermore, throwing deer was fine.
I am very satisfied with Budgetcam's equipment and service. Good communication, pleasant employees and the camera worked great. I'll be back in the future for sure!

After previous positive experience ordered again from Budgetcam. Good and clear contact. The Canon EOS 80D camera ordered was not available, but a better alternative was offered, namely the 6D mk II. And of course for the same price. Great service!
Rented this lens because of my own 1.5 year old 70-200 VC USD back focus. So I thought let's try the new version during an assignment. Because I took thousands of photos with the predecessor of the G2 (I rented the G2, I have the VC USD / G1 myself) I can compare both well. Advantages of the G2: Beautiful color reproduction, mega sharp, very short shortest focus of 0.95m = ± 40cm shorter than my G1. Downsides of the G2: The physical buttons that are new on the top of the lens and that serve various focus and VC functions are accidentally switched on and off every once in a while by moving the lens up and along your body. I use a neckstrap to have my hands free during rest, but then the camera with lens hangs along my body and those buttons are switched all the time without you wanting to. In general recommended FF telephoto lens.

Had a great shoot in Tilburg Ayreon. From FOH total and zoom work. The camera worked flawlessly as it should. Budgetcam service is very good. flexible on all fronts.
