Last weekend I was allowed to photograph during the Libema open '22 final weekend. Initially asked for the Nikon Z 70-200 mm 2.8. Unfortunately this one was not available. Selected a PRIMA alternative together with an employee, the Nikon Z 100-400 mm SF/4.5 -5.6 VR. Unfortunately, the lens was not delivered to the location I indicated. This is why budgetcam has met me by doing something about the total price. Super arranged. The shoot went very well. The Lens has produced very nice images.

As a new customer a fairly positive experience in Capelle. Creating an account via the site went great and so was ordering stuff and picking it up. Everything was neatly prepared. In the shop I was able to set up the lamps and test them before leaving. Material itself worked fine. Handling of 'administration' was also quick and clear.

This was my first time renting and not everything went completely smoothly. But I have been helped tremendously by the employees and can definitely see myself coming back more often. Reaching the office just takes a very long time and I certainly thought that was a minus.

Last week on Wednesday morning I made a reservation for a certain lens. I received the following message by email: “During opening hours you will receive a final confirmation within 3 hours.” However, I still had not received a confirmation on Friday, so I decided to send an email. This email has not yet been answered, so I called Budgetcam. They told me that the lens was not available and they asked if I might be interested in an alternative. I explained that I needed it for shooting in a dark room and that's why I was looking for a lens with an aperture of f2.8 or lower. Budgetcam recommended a Sony prime lens that they said I could film in f2.8 and I agreed. Saturday afternoon I picked up the lens and once I got home it turned out that I had been given a lens with which I could not go lower than f5.6. So this was way too dark for the situation I wanted to use it in. Unfortunately, Budgetcam was already closed when I found out, so I was no longer able to reach the company. So I had to rent an extra lens from another party, which meant I had to incur extra unnecessary costs…

I had rented a canon 7d with zoom lens. Fine in order. I also ordered extra batteries. When checked, it turned out that they were not (fully) charged.

Rented Fuji XT4 with 16-55mm F2.8 lens as a second camera for a wedding shoot. Excellent material, good service and a fair price. I will definitely do it again.

Unfortunately, the desired equipment was not available at the time, due to crowds. But I was called immediately and was able to quickly place an alternative order over the phone. Thanks to this moment I was able to experience the expertise and customer service of Budgetcam in its entirety. This also allowed me to quickly make a different choice. And can pick it up quickly. My shoot went smoothly and the return went without any problems. Here too I was able to experience the service again, because I could not see a file on my own laptop. The co-worker transferred it for me. What a hit that was! Overall I have experienced this as pleasant and I will be placing an order for the next shoot soon.

My files were not stored on my own SD card and the staff was very friendly and helped me to solve my stupid mistake. So am very happy.

It was to be expected that this lens is a huge upgrade for quality photos and videos. This lens is even better than expected! Together with my Nikon Z6, this brought the power of Nikon's clearest and sharpest glass a camera can offer. This is worth a try for the Nikon system cameras!
