Material not in, order wrongly sorted... Everything was dirty and stinky + camera in badly used condition. Staff in the store both at pickup in Antwerp and return in Mechelen gruff and quite unfriendly. If I had an additional question about billing, the answer was, "No idea, you have to arrange that with HUN." Clearly the store staff does not fully support this external service. Currently not recommended because too expensive for what you get is my opinion.
I had reserved a Sony 70-200 to rent. Unfortunately this was no longer available, but I was called and something was still arranged at another location. Top service, thank you very much. Renting more often I'm sure :)
Amazing how easy and affordable it is to be able to go out for a few days with a really good camera and lens.
Great service and nice gear for rent. Only downside I found was that the camera had no carrying strap. Is more risky with expensive equipment that you have to be extra careful with.

Initially I had ordered the Sony FX30 to rent. When it turned out to be unavailable, I was immediately offered an alternative (Sony FX3) free of charge. However, I had my own lens for an APS-C camera. This was no problem, I could get a lens with similar (even better) features for free. Pickup and return was unproblematic and the customer service is very helpful and patient.
When I finally picked up the lens and camera they were given to me both in their own case. The camera was given to me complete with two memory cards and two charged batteries, a card reader and a charger.
They don't want you to lack anything, very nice!
All in all, I am very satisfied with how things went with Budgetcam and can highly recommend it. Super that everything went so smoothly and unproblematic.

Highly recommend renting your photo (and/or other) gear here. Clear info on the website and easy to place a reservation. Pick up and drop off are efficient and without loss of time. Any deposit is refunded within a few business days. Parking garage right next door. Highly recommended!

Reservation for photo equipment rental went very smoothly. Upon pickup there was the friendly reception and all equipment turned out to be in tiptop order and the batteries for the camera turned out to be fully charged so I could get started immediately. When returning the rented equipment, again a pleasant reception and smooth handling. In short, an excellent (first) experience with the rental service, definitely recommended.
Thanks to Budgetcam I was able to test 2 lenses exuberantly during a real shoot. The communication was very smooth and I will definitely use this service again.

Changed order twice due to out of stock then have freight not delivered....
As a result I did run into problems with my job a day in advance. Not very good so calling a day in advance and no solution.
