After nine years, Sony has updated the classic telephoto zoom lens with the FE 70-200mm f/4 Macro G OSS II, with improved performance in autofocus, stabilization, magnification and sharpness, while both length and size have decreased from the previous model. It remains a portable, everyday powerhouse for events, sports and portraits, but this latest version extends its capabilities to video and macro applications.

This telephoto zoom lens is versatile for both portrait and nature photography. With a maximum magnification of 0.5x, you bring your subject closer. Adding a 2x teleconverter even gives you 1:1 macro functionality, allowing you to take clear close-up shots.
Thanks to Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, you take the sharpest images both up close and from afar. The maximum aperture of f/4.0 remains constant across the entire focal length range, resulting in beautiful shots under all lighting conditions and a nice depth of field. 

Finally, the lens features four XD linear motors that ensure fast and precise autofocus both when shooting and filming, even at 4K120p. This ensures that your subject is always in sharp focus.
