This microphone is particularly suitable for on-camera interviews and isolates dialogue even in noisy environments. A mute switch is also provided. The new design of the EW-DP is extra handy and portable; for example, both the EW-DP EK digital receiver and the EW-D SK handheld transmitter both run on batteries or the included BA 70 battery pack. This allows the transmitter to last about 12 hours, and the receiver about 7 hours. Via USB-C, you can charge the battery pack or connect the receiver to AC power with a compatible AC adapter.

The EW-DP 835 kit's digital receiver is the central component of the kit. Its simple and intuitive interface makes it suitable for both experienced audio engineers and novice content creators.
