The Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55 is a large format cinema camera built to deliver a distinctive cinematic image with exceptional depth, tonal range, and color reproduction. Its 44 × 33 mm sensor produces shallow depth of field, smooth highlight roll-off, and a unique analog film-like aesthetic, making it ideal for both horizontal and vertical shooting workflows.
With Dual Base ISO: 800 / 3200 and support for F-Log2, the camera captures maximum detail from shadows to highlights. Combined with Fujifilm’s renowned color science and built-in film simulations, it allows film-inspired looks that can be recorded directly into the footage or used as a starting point for grading. It also supports Open Gate 4:3 recording, giving filmmakers full sensor access for anamorphic or vertical workflows without cropping.
The GFX ETERNA 55 supports internal DCI 8K recording and professional codecs such as Apple ProRes, making it suitable for high-end productions and demanding workflows. A built-in variable ND filter provides up to seven stops of exposure control without interrupting the shooting process.
Designed for professional filmmaking environments, the camera features a modular body with multiple mounting points and industry-standard connectivity. It uses the Fujifilm G mount and comes with a PL mount adapter, offering flexibility to work with both Fujinon large format lenses and traditional cinema glass.
